Soft Matters: Why Your Parathas Deserve Elite Chakki Atta
In every kitchen, there’s that one unspoken rule.
Parathas can be stuffed or plain, round or triangle—but they better be soft. Because nobody, absolutely nobody, wants a paratha that needs effort to bite.
It’s not about fancy fillings or restaurant tricks. It’s about that melt-in-the-mouth texture, the kind that comes from choosing the right atta and giving it the care it deserves.
And if you’re using Elite Chakki Fresh Atta, you’re halfway there already.
Here are two foolproof ways to let that softness shine through.
Classic Ghee Paratha
Ingredients
1. 2 cups Elite Chakki Fresh Atta
2. Warm water, as needed
3. Salt – ½ tsp
4. Ghee – for roasting
How to prepare
1. Mix the Elite Chakki Fresh Atta and salt. Slowly add warm water and knead into a soft, pliable dough.
2. Cover and rest the dough for at least 20 minutes.
3. Divide into balls and roll out into circles.
4. Smear a little ghee, fold into layers, and roll again for flakiness.
5. Roast on a hot tawa, adding ghee on both sides, until golden and puffed.
Soft enough to tear with two fingers, rich enough to eat plain, and perfect with pickle or curd.
Sometimes you want something that fills you up and still feels like home. That’s where this next one comes in.
Stuffed Aloo Paratha
Ingredients
1. 2 cups Elite Chakki Fresh Atta
2. boiled potatoes, mashed
3. ½ tsp jeera
4. ½ tsp chilli powder
5. 1 green chilli, finely chopped
6. Coriander leaves, chopped
7. Salt – to taste
8. Ghee or oil – for roasting
How to prepare
1. Make dough using Elite Chakki Atta, as in the first recipe.
2. Mix all stuffing ingredients together.
3. Divide the dough and stuffing into equal parts.
4. Roll out dough slightly, place stuffing inside, seal, and roll gently again.
5. Cook on a hot tawa with ghee until golden on both sides.
If it breaks slightly on the sides, don’t worry. That’s how you know it’s homemade!
A soft paratha isn’t a luxury—it’s a standard. And with the right atta, it doesn’t take restaurant skills or rolling pin mastery.
It just takes a little time, the right mix, and the choice to go with Elite.
Because good food doesn’t shout. It folds, puffs, and stays soft till the very last bite.
